Lidia I. Rodriguez was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on March 26, 1987. Her parents, Jose Rodriguez and Lidia Marrero, encouraged her to stay actively engaged in a variety of activities throughout her childhood. She spent over 17 years in scouting, where she cultivated skills in leadership, mentorship, creativity, teamwork, and community service. From the age of five, Lidia also excelled as a swimmer, a pursuit that eventually earned her a university scholarship.

Lidia graduated with a degree in Business Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2010. That same year, she began her career in the insurance industry, obtaining her professional licenses. In 2013, she married Miguel Rivera and relocated to Massachusetts with their daughter, Sophia. Her first role in Massachusetts was as a math tutor for Springfield Public Schools.

For over a decade, Lidia has been an active member of the CCNJ Church. In 2015, after the birth of her second daughter, Isabella, she decided to return to the insurance field to better serve the Hispanic community. Her dedication and excellence were quickly recognized—she became an Ignite Agent in 2016 and achieved Gold Category Top Producer status in 2017 at Agencia Equis Financial.

In 2018, Lidia and her husband Miguel co-founded Rewarding Insurance Agency. Since then, the agency has grown steadily, offering a wide range of services to their community. In 2021, Lidia welcomed her third child, Max, into the family. In 2024, her accomplishments were celebrated when she received the “Business Person of the Year” and “Business of the Year” awards from the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, the Springfield Chamber of Commerce recognized Rewarding Insurance Agency in their “Super 60 Start-Up” category.

Today, Lidia’s agency provides a comprehensive suite of services, including Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Business Insurance, Home and Auto Insurance, Notary Services, and Tax Preparation. Rewarding Insurance Agency is one of the most complete and respected insurance agencies in the region, proudly serving the Hispanic community.
